1. Description of the Cliperbot Service

Cliperbot ("the Service") is an automated video clip creation and distribution platform. Cliperbot monitors live streams on Kick.com, detects noteworthy moments through artificial intelligence, edits the clips into 9:16 vertical format optimized for social networks, and sends them as drafts to the TikTok Inbox of the authorized user, via TikTok's official Content Posting API.

Cliperbot does NOT automatically publish any video to the user's profile. The user always decides, from the official TikTok app, which draft to publish.

2. Use of TikTok API scopes/permissions by Cliperbot

Cliperbot requests only two scopes from TikTok's official API, which are explicitly shown in the OAuth 2.0 screen before user authorization:

  • user.info.basic — Cliperbot uses this exclusively to display the TikTok username and avatar in the Cliperbot panel, so the user can visually confirm their account is correctly connected.
  • video.upload — Cliperbot uses this exclusively to send generated clips as drafts to the user's TikTok Inbox (endpoint /v2/post/publish/inbox/video/init/).

Cliperbot does NOT request any other TikTok scope (it does not use video.publish, does not access direct messages, does not access the user's followers list, does not access the user's existing videos, does not access third-party information).

3. Content moderation and censorship

3.1. Cliperbot applies an automated system to censor vulgar, offensive or inappropriate content. This system includes:

  • A database of more than 80 vulgar words and expressions in Spanish (including regional variants of Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and other Spanish-speaking countries) and English.
  • Detection using word boundaries with regular expressions to avoid false positives.
  • Censorship of the visual text rendered in the video before publication.
  • Censorship of the description text on the target platform.
  • Explicit instructions to the AI title generator model to NEVER produce text with profanity, insults, references to drugs, violence, or sexual content.

3.2. Categories of censored content include, but are not limited to:

  • Sexually explicit or suggestive language.
  • Insults, profanity and foul language in any language.
  • References to illicit substances or drugs.
  • Content that promotes hate, discrimination or violence.

3.3. Despite the automated censorship system, the Service does not guarantee detection of 100% of inappropriate content, especially in audio. The user is responsible for reviewing the content published on their account.

4. Copyright and intellectual property

4.1. Cliperbot only processes content from live streams whose creators have granted explicit authorization for use of the Service.

4.2. The user represents and warrants that they have the necessary rights or authorization from the original content creator to create and distribute clips derived from their streams.

4.3. Cliperbot does not claim ownership of the generated clips. All rights to the original content belong to the stream creator.

4.4. In case of receiving a copyright claim, Cliperbot reserves the right to immediately remove the content and suspend the Service for the affected channel.

5. Use of the TikTok API

5.1. Cliperbot uses TikTok's official API (Content Posting API) to publish content, fully complying with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service.

5.2. Each TikTok account used must be explicitly authorized by its owner through TikTok's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow.

5.3. The user may revoke Cliperbot's access to their TikTok account at any time from their TikTok account settings.

5.4. Cliperbot respects the rate limits set by TikTok: a maximum of 6 requests per minute per access token.

6. User responsibilities

6.1. The user is responsible for the content published on their TikTok account, even if generated automatically by Cliperbot.

6.2. The user must comply with TikTok's community guidelines and terms of service for the target platform.

6.3. Any misuse of the Service, including publishing infringing, offensive, or illegal content, is the exclusive responsibility of the user.

7. Limitation of liability

7.1. The Cliperbot Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Cliperbot does not guarantee 100% uptime, absolute accuracy of highlight detection, or that every clip will be optimal.

7.2. Cliperbot is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

7.3. Cliperbot's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the Service in the six months prior to the incident.

8. Modification of the Terms

Cliperbot reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant modifications will be notified to users via a notice on the main page of the Service. Continued use of Cliperbot after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Cliperbot operates. Any dispute will be resolved in the corresponding competent courts.
